We have discovered that there is a link between
cultures that was introduced during Caleb´s presentation. Apparently, in Ohio
they celebrate the chestnut just like we do here in Spain. For Caleb it is
called “the Buckeye”, for us it is called the “castaña” or chestnut, that is
eating in Fall and specially during the “Magosto Festival”. However, in Ohio,
the buckeye is a poisonous chestnut, that cannot be eaten.
The chocolate buckeye was made to look
like a chestnut, but it isn´t made with the chestnut. Therefore, the chocolate
buckeye doesn´t taste like one.
Recently, we could cook them at the school and enjoy them as well...!!!
