A World of Recipes...!!!

Dear students,
I hope that you, your families and friends are all fine...!!!
I came across some ideas to share with you...!!!!
Since we have enogh time at home, I would suggest that you write a diary with your daily schedule, trying to compare your current routine with the routine you had just before our confinement at home. This will keep us busy...!!!
Besides, I would like to begin a new task. Its title is: "A World of Recipes"...!!! The idea is to share as many recipes as possible, especially the ones that you are cooking these days. Remember to write both the ingredients and the instructions. It would be great if you could share some pictures of the process in addition to the final result.
Hopefully, some schools from all over the world will join us...!!!
Rachel Adams, (our American Assistant teacher) and I are going to post some recipes that we´ve been cooking these days.
Furthermore, anyone all over the world can post their recipes in our English blog...!!! So, we can create "A World of Recipes...!!!
Warm Regards...!!!
Take care and STAY AT HOME...!!!
I will STAY at HOME...!!!
Ana Isabel Ferreirós Rey.

Let´s cook together...!!! It´s worth and it´s fun...!!!
Next, are some recipes made by Rachel Adams:

Cookies:

INGREDIENTS
1 cup (125 grams) all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled)
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup (115 grams) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
½ cup (100 grams) brown sugar
¼ cup (50 grams) granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 and ½ cups (150 grams) old-fashioned rolled oats
1 cup (190 grams) semisweet chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350°F (175C).
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a separate large mixing bowl using an electric mixer, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar for about 1-2 minutes or until well combined. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract, stopping to scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix on low speed until just combined. Mix in the oats, then the chocolate chips until just combined.
Scoop the dough onto baking sheets, making sure to leave a little room between each cookie. Bake at 350°F for 10-13 minutes or until the tops of the cookies are set.
Remove from the oven and cool on the baking sheet for 5-10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Rachel made another delicious recipe....!!! Can you guess what is it...??? Who can give us the best recipe for this dessert...??? I challenge you...!!

I am going to share with you my speciality: Seafood clams. I always cook them as my grandma told me a long time ago and she had a secret ingredient I am going to share it with you...!!! Please, read the recipe and try to guess, which was her secret ingredient. This recipe reminds me of the good times at home, either with family or friends...!!!

INGREDIENTS:

Clams.
Olive oil.
Galic
Onions,
Parsley.
Flour
White pepper.
Paprika. (pimentón dulce)
White wine for cooking
Salt.
Bay leaves.

Note: I am not saying the quantities of the ingredients in this recipe, since they may vary, depending on the number of people at the table. However, if you need them, just ask me and I´ll let you know.

INSTRUCTIONS:

First, pour some olive oil into the pan. Then, add some sliced garlic till it begins dancing in the pan (I´m joking, I mean till it´s gets just a little bit brown). When it´s ready, you can remove it from the pan. Then add the chopped onion. While we are cooking the onion, you can put some flour in a pan and heat it till it gets brown, just brown, not dark brown...!!!
Next, if the onion is half cook, we can add some parsley. As soon as they are ready, we can add the rest of the ingredients, but the clams. So, we can add the white pepper, the paprika, the salt (not much,), and the roasted flour and some white wine.
As soon as it is ready, we can add the clams. They will be ready, just when they all open. Now, you can eat them.
Just remember, they must be eaten immeadiately, when they are ready and warm, otherwise, they became cold very soon and, trust me, they taste different...!!!

Though the next recipe looks difficult, it is quite easy...!!! I used to cook it with the kids and the loved helping...!!! They are a sort of pies. we call them: "EMPANADILLAS".

INGREDIENTS:

Here you need the quantities for the ingredients, because otherwise this recipe won´t work.

Ingredients to make the dough:

Half a kilo of flour.
Royal yeast
Some milk.
3 or 4 eggs.

Ingredients for the stuffed:

1 or 2 tuna cans.
2 or 3 eggs
Bell pepper.
Olives.

Of course you can do them with meat, if you do so, can you send us the recipe...???

INSTRUCCIÓNS:

First, we make the dough with the flour, the Royal yeast, the milk and 3 or 4 eggs. We mix everything. Remember, either to add the necessary milk for the dough and to leave some flour to pour onto the dough when we knead it...!!!
Later on, we knead it. When is hard enough, we leave it to rest for a while, some 20 or 30 minutes.
Afterwards, we cut into slices as you can see in the picture. Finally, we stuff it with the tuna, the eggs, the bell pepper and the olives and fry them till they are ready. Enjoy...!!!

Today, I was running out of food, so I made this recipe with the ingredients I had. Can you guess the ingredients and how to cook it...??? Please, tell us...!!!

Please, stay tune and keep in touch...!!!
