Literacy, Science, SEL & Maths Activity
The Legend
Once upon a time in Ireland, King Lir had four children: Fionnuala, Aodh, Fiachra, and Conn. They were very happy, but their stepmother, Aoife, was jealous.
One day, she took them to a lake and used a magic wand to turn them into four white swans. They had to stay as swans for 900 years! They had soft feathers, long necks, and wings to fly. Finally, the spell was broken, and they became human again.
